The Dance of Life

I die a little every day in life
a slow painless death, not the scary kind
I die the sweetest death one can find.

I die a sleep so deep and true
to be reborn, fresh start anew
beyond ideas of me and you.
This sleep, a dance of passing hours
a kind of death unknown to me,
in quiet stillness it devours
and yet, in it, answers I seek.
A sleep so deep, scary and true
a death so strange, unknown to me
a dance in circles of eternity.
It is very tiring, forgive me heart
for greater men have tried to find
this answer crazy, in death it lies
To live in death or die in life?

I die a little everyday in life
a slow painless death, not the scary kind
I die the sweetest death one can find.

I have no choice my dearest self,
but to accept, accept I say
the rise and fall of this sacred dance.
A dance unknown, scary to me
a dance in circles of eternity
a dance of ages and tomorrow
a spark of life beyond pain and sorrow.
A kind of death unknown to me
awaits in bed, slowly it creeps
but Gladly I extend my hand.
Take me I say, I am your friend
take me and dance your quiet hours,
please dance with me.
Please dance today my dearest self
accept, accept, accept this death
allow yourself to die each night
so you can live fully in life.

I die a little everyday in life
a slow painless death, not the scary kind
I die the sweetest death one can find.

I rise again in the dance of tomorrow
beyond my fears, beyond my sorrow
a stranger to pain, to doubt, to fright
I awaken with passion, I am awake in life!
